My research into open source and free publishing, free newspapers, FLOSSManuals and Booki, Richard Stallman, Bruce Sterling, William Gibson, the Free Software Foundation, the EFF, Jaron Lanier. Also, map mapping, Open Source Geospatial tools, and Arts map development.
Roughly a dozen open source download-able typeface from OSP. My favourite is Univers Else, a copy of Univers, where the letterforms have been scanned from original 1970s phototypeset publications and make-ready sheets.
